Gale California K12 - Understand environmental issues that affect people globally through topic overviews, journals, news, and multimedia content. Get 24/7 access to nearly 400 pages across science, social studies, and the humanities.



While supporting high school curricula and university coursework, Gale Interactive: Science helps students better visualize and understand concepts in biology, chemistry, earth and space science. Students and instructors can manipulate and explore 3D models that are paired with reference and periodical content for further understanding.



GetSetUp is an online community offering live classes to older adults. It is for people who want to learn new skills, connect with others and unlock new life experiences. California residents (aged 50+) will have unlimited access to live classes offered here until the end of April 2024.

The partnership between the California State Library and GetSetUp concludes April 30th, 2024. Users will be given 30 days to choose a subscription, after which your account will automatically revert to a free “community only” subscription with limited access to classes.
